I don't think there is a year that isn't busy and full of God stories. Here is a snapshot (or 17) of this year's great summer...
Our Quatro Championship was one of the highlights of the week. Families cpompeted for points all week and the top four families took part in our championship on Friday afternoon. It was a pretty intense competition with both physical and mental challenges families had to overcome to be the first to plant their family's flag on a platform out in the lake.

It was such a privilege for Carra and I to have opportunities to pray with and for families as they arrived at check-in at the beginning of the week,

The morning sessions usually started off with a gane for two of the families to compete in. It was a great way to get the morning started.

Sessions were always a great time of worship through both the singing and teaching of God's Word. It was awesome to see families praying together!

Sometimes the best part of the day was just relaxing and hanging out and fellowshipping.

During the Friday night session we would bring all the children up who had spent the week memorizing the theme verse so they recite it together for their parents to hear. I loved seeing the kids' faces beam as they recited from Scripture. (Yes, I am wearing a sling. I had to have surgery to repair a torn tendon in my bicep- we don't hold anything back when we do activities at camp!)

Of course, my favorite part of working at Life Action Camp is tat my family is there with me every day. I wouldn't do what I do if it were any other way. I am truly blessed!
