Well, November has come and gone. As many of you know, we were praying that God would do something God-sized and bring us to 100% monthly support by the end of November.

God did move in an awesome way, but we did not make our goal of being at 100% by this time. We presently stand at 63% percent. That is still an incredible percentage considering where we were when we started praying for a God-sized happening!

Thank you so much to those who were praying with us and to those who have supported us financially! Your faithfulness and generosity have been an incredible encouragement to us!

I had someone ask what we are going to do now. My answer was (and still is) that we are going to do what we have been doing- Continue on the path we know God has us on and seek to raise our monthly support so that we can serve full-time at Life Action.

God doesn’t always choose to answer our prayers the way we want or expect. That doesn’t mean that we “missed” God on something or are on the wrong track. It means that we do not know all things and God does. It means that He has a better plan than the one we had with our limited knowledge.

Is there a sense of disappointment? Yes. Are we blown away at what God did do in the 6-week period of our praying? Yes! Is there a sense of excitement at what God is going to continue to do as we seek to follow Him to the best of our ability and knowledge? Absolutely!

Many times the work God does in our lives has more to do with Him conforming us to the image of Christ than conforming our situations to our desires. That is what He has done through this process and what He will continue to do. We are also confident that He will get us to 100% support to do what He has called us to do when He wants us to do it!
